Cloudland Dao operates cloudlanddao.xyz and uses TikTok's official developer services to connect an authorized TikTok account and prepare or publish content with the account holder's approval.

Information we process

When a user connects a TikTok account, TikTok may provide basic account information, such as a display name, avatar, and account identifier, together with authorization tokens and the permissions granted by the user. We also process content and publication metadata that the user chooses to send to TikTok.

How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate the connected account, show the account associated with a publishing action, upload or publish user-approved content, check publication status, maintain security, and troubleshoot the integration. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

Information is shared with TikTok when necessary to provide the requested authentication and content-publishing functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Storage and security

Authorization credentials are stored on a controlled server with access restrictions. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, but we use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the information processed.

Retention and deletion

We retain authorization data only while it is needed to operate the connected integration or meet legal and security obligations. A user may revoke access through TikTok account settings. A user may also request disconnection or deletion through the contact channel on our official website. After a valid request, we will delete information that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations.

User choices

Connecting a TikTok account is optional. Users may decline requested permissions, revoke previously granted permissions, or stop using the integration. Content is not sent to TikTok without the account holder's express approval of the publishing action.

Children

This integration is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone who is not eligible to use TikTok under TikTok's terms and applicable law.
