Use the I Ching as a language of change, not a fortune-telling shortcut.
Begin with a real-life problem
Digital life is exhausting partly because it changes so quickly. A format that works today may fail tomorrow, and attention can disappear as suddenly as it arrived. Every fluctuation begins to feel like a final judgment on our worth.
The I Ching treats change as normal. A line describes movement within a position, not a fixed label of good or bad fortune. An extreme condition may require a different strategy; an apparent low point may hold the beginning of another cycle. This is a language for observing patterns, not a tool for predicting likes.
Ask six questions of your screen life: Am I beginning, accumulating, or overextending? What weak signal am I ignoring? Am I answering a real need or chasing immediate feedback? If attention falls, what remains worth doing?
We cannot control change, but we can stop mistaking every change for destiny.
