👨🔬 Who is Peng Jiamu?
彭加木（1925-1980），中国著名植物病毒学家，中国科学院新疆分院副院长。1980年6月17日，他在罗布泊科学考察途中独自离队寻找水源，留下一张纸条：「我去东边找水井。彭 17/6 10:30」。此后，人间蒸发。

彭加木失踪后，”双鱼玉佩”的传说开始在民间流传。据说他在罗布泊发现了一件能够复制生命体的神秘装置——将一条鱼放入玉佩的光芒中，会出现另一条完全相同的鱼。
更离奇的说法是：彭加木本人也被”复制”了。后来出现在公众视野中的人，已经不是原来的彭加木。所以官方对外宣布的是”失踪”，而非”死亡”。
